In its role as advisor and developer of renewable energy-related projects, EQUANIMA is joining as project leader and on behalf of the Stream Consortium in the development and implementation of a mega photovoltaic plant commissioned by Tiepolo Srl, taking care of the authorization phase.
The investment is one of the most important in northern Italy, and will be developed on 9.2 hectares of land, with series of state-of-the-art photovoltaic modules, and a peak power, that is, on the sunniest days, of more than 8.9 MW. The plant will be installed in Santa Bianca di Bondeno in the province of Ferrara. The Tiepolo company has signed an agreement to allocate an annual contribution to the municipality.
EQUANIMA offers integrated and complete advisory services to build and operate energy plants from renewable sources. In addition to the development of initiatives, project management is also part of the activities, through which the company organizes, supervises the plants and trains technicians for the purpose.
The advisory authorization on behalf of the client includes E.I.A. (Environmental Impact Assessment) and A.U. (Single Authorization) for the construction of a ground-mounted photovoltaic plant with an east-west solar tracking system with a capacity of 8.94 MW. Once fully operational, the plant will produce around 12 GWh of energy, equivalent to the needs of about 4000 households, contributing to the reduction of more than 6400 tons of CO2 annually.
